The tea tree and the black and green tea you drink (chai Patti) are not the same. The tea tree is native to the Australian continent and has been used in folk medicine for the treatment of skin diseases. Thanks to its inherent antibacterial and anti-allergic properties, you can use tea tree oil for acne, boils, and other skin infections. Its antiseptic properties also help fight infections of the mouth, throat, and ears.

Tea tree oil is usually combined with lemon, lavender, and aloe Vera, witch hazel, and carrier oils such as coconut, olive, and almond to create a variety of beauty remedies for the skin.

How to use tea tree oil for acne

1. Witch Hazel & Tea Tree Oil for Pimples


  • Tea Tree Oil
  • Witch Hazel Toner

Instructions: Add 67 drops of tea tree oil to the toner of witch hazel (readily available online). Apply twice a day using a cotton swab or cotton earbud, after washing your face.

2. Tea tree oil spot treatment and aloe Vera gel for acne


  • Tea tree oil
  • Aloe vera gel

How to use: For the treatment of acne spots, dilute 1 teaspoon of tea tree oil in two teaspoons of aloe vera gel. Store the mixture in a glass bottle. Apply twice a day using a cotton swab or cotton swab, after washing your face. You can also use water, coconut oil, or almond oil instead of aloe vera.

#3 Clay & Tea Tree Oil Facial Mask for Oily Skin


  • Tea Tree Oil
  • Clay/Multani Mitti
  • Rose Water

Instructions: Add 23 drops of tea tree oil to the clay powder,  with the rose water, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Apply a thin layer on the face and let it dry. Wash off with cold water and follow with a water-based foundation. Do this twice a week.

4. Face mask with tea tree oil, jojoba, and tomato oil for oily skin


  • Tea Tree Oil
  • Jojoba Oil
  • Tomato Pulp

Directions: Combine 3 drops of tea tree oil, 1 teaspoon of jojoba oil, and the pulp of half a tomato to make a coarse paste. Apply and leave on for 10 minutes, before rinsing off with lukewarm water. To dry.

5. Tea tree oil, lavender oil, and rice flour Scrub for glowing skin


  • Tea tree oil
  • Lavender oil
  • Olive oil
  • Castor oil
  • Rice flour

Preparation: For rice flour, grind half a cup of rice to a very fine powder. Add 23 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of castor oil to the rice flour. Castor oil is an astringent that helps control the oil secreted by the glands. Add 34 drops of tea tree oil and lavender oil. Use the scrub twice a week as part of the evening shower. You can use the scrub for the face and body.

6. Tea Tree Oil, Aloe Vera Gel & Coconut Oil Overnight Acne Facial Mask 

Contrary to popular belief, you can lubricate your face, even if you have oily skin. Most great cutaneous products tend to expire the skin, then trigger the glands to secrete more oil. Coconut, almonds, and olive oil moisturize the skin without the majority. Rinse off with lukewarm water in the morning.

#7 Peel Off Mask Tea Tree Oil and Black Charcoal for Blackheads.


  • Powdered Activated Charcoal
  • Gelatin
  • Powdered Clay 
  • Tea Tree Oil
  • Hot Water

Instructions: Mix the charcoal powder with the clay and gelatin with a wooden spatula. The wooden spatula would retain the properties of the gelatin. Add hot water and mix well. Then add the tea tree oil and mix again.
